DMD Diamond Blockchain Updates — May 2026

Another month of active development has come to a close. Here are the developments that took place on the blockchain in May 2026 👇

▶️ The DMDv4 mainnet continues to run smoothly. We are actively working on completing the Multichain integration with Axelar. Not only that, on-chain DEX functionality, stablecoin pairing strategy, on-chain validator chat-room and censorship-resistance governance communication are next on our roadmap.

▶️ We are developing The DMD Diamond Naming System this June. We estimated to finish the smart contract, frontend, backend and final testing within the June month frame. What does the DMD Diamond Naming system mean to every blockchain audience?

The DMD Diamond Naming System introduces decentralized identity and human-readable addressing to the DMD Diamond blockchain. It allows users to register unique usernames as NFTs (ERC-721) linked to wallet addresses. These names can function as:

wallet aliases
chat handles
DNS-compatible identifiers
identity anchors across DMD Diamond ecosystem tools

Each name is fully owned on-chain, transferable, and verifiable. All name management will occur through the DMD Diamond UI, which connects directly to the blockchain. Users can search names, register names, activate/deactivate names, renew ownership, view history, and transfer names.

▶️ Works continue on the DMD Diamond-UI v2.1 features planning and release. Some of the things to look forward to are: validator and delegators statistics improvements, new tool tooltips and profile-related views, backlog cleanup and additional UI Improvements, etc.

▶️ We have started defining priorities and deliverables toward preparing the 2026 roadmap for the blockchain. Also, we are building a community knowledge base for wallets and key management tools. This is to guide community members to learn from one another on what works.

▶️ Again, If anyone wants to monitor their service nodes and get notified if anything changes regarding stakes, scores, or connectivity reports, we have created a small Telegram bot for that – https://t.me/dmd_chain_bot. Also, delegate stakers who want to see how the validator they staked on top performs can utilize it, see what is happening, and see how the stake on that validator grows each epoch it is part of the active set.

▶️ The DMD Diamond grant program is still active! It aims to support the development of new decentralized applications (dApps) and tools on top of our ecosystem. The initiative seeks to expand the DMD Diamond ecosystem through projects in DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, and other areas.

Teams with creative and practical solutions can receive funding of up to $5,000, and the best project will be awarded a full validator node with 10,000 DMD. ▶️ Please stay informed about the v4 airdrop claiming timeline for DMDv4 coins (swapped in a 1:1 manner with preexisting v3 snapshot coin balances):

👉 The first 3 months for 100% v4 airdrop claim for v4 coins has ended (DMDv4 mainnet launch date of Oct 13th, 2025 – January 13th, 2026)

👉 Months 3–6: 75% claim (ended)

👉 Months 6–60: 50% claim (ongoing)

👉 After 60 months: 0% claim

Note: When interacting with your DMDv3 wallet, ensure that an “I” signature is generated. Copy the signature and the message that generated it exactly—without additional spaces, tabs, or characters—into the claiming UI to claim your v4 coins successfully.
