🗣️ DMD Diamond Blockchain Updates For December 2023. ✨✨
Here are the developments that happened on our blockchain👇
▶️ We successfully ended our coin economic test of the new Alpha 2 Network, which we started on September 7th. We have speeded up various factors of the network with a x50 multiplier – so we have tested > 10 years of running the next-generation network of DMD diamond blockchain.
Everything went smoothly during that test; we did not have a single consensus failure, and the numbers of the economy tests looked promising. During that test, we created more than 600,000 transactions and more than 500,000 blocks. The ongoing projects that are under development could continue their development on this network without friction.
We have currently slowed down again to regular speed – so instead of having 1 epoch every 10 minutes, the network runs with 1 epoch every 12 hours. Soon, we will also increase the heartbeat interval from 1 minute to 10 minutes, therefore we fit the planned parameters we target for the start of V4.
All thanks to the community and especially the volunteers who participated in the test.We are looking forward to the next, and hopefully final, large test with more testers,in preparation for the launch of the 4th iteration of the DMD Diamond Blockchain. Until then, the tests on the current alpha test network will continue!
▶️ A community member showed interest in creating a project on top of the DMD diamond blockchain. He has been permitted to start development on our testnet in the meantime while waiting for the DMDv4 release.

The core element of the uNiq earth metaverse project would be an NFT marketplace – connecting several NFT-base experiences, with the NFT having reuse value in multiple experiences.

▶️ The DMD diamond coins are three times more scarce than Bitcoin! Why? 900 new BTC are generated per day and after halving, it becomes 450. However, 150 DMD diamond coins are freshly generated each day – making it three times more scarce than Bitcoin 💪.
▶️ We have two additional team members working fully focused on the upcoming user interface DApp – ui.bit.diamonds – which would replace the actual testnet – staking.uniq.diamonds and come with more use-cases beyond staking features.
The DApp would be the point of contact for everything on the DMD Diamond ecosystem. From news and announcements to setting up validator candidates or delegating stake on validators, to links on all interesting ecosystem projects, to participating in DMD DAO voting or even creating a DAO proposal, etc.

The DMD diamond blockchain is a community-owned layer 1 blockchain that has existed since 2013. It’s currently running in v3 as mainnet. The DMDv4 which is currently in open alpha will replace v3 when launched and coins can be claimed in 1:1!
▶️ We got in touch with two coinmarketcap valid code audit companies. Once the open beta is ready, we will run through a full code audit which will also be visible on Coinmarketcap – to increase visibility and trust into our blockchain.
