▶️ We launched v0.9.2 for the upcoming DMDv4 – which provides a further stability improvement for Nodes running at the fast DB settings.
▶️ One of our current Roadmaps is to reset the current blockchain testnet that runs at a very fast epoch speed (10 Minutes) and creates a lot of data. It currently takes about 20 hours to sync on the suggested hardware and about 140 GB on an archive Node.
With the reset, we target a smaller DB that makes it easier for our members to participate in the Alpha.

▶️ We ran a month coin economic test to stimulate the first five years of the DMDv4 mainnet. The speed is 60 times shorter – because of that, in coin economic wise, 1 month is like 5 years on the mainnet.
Following the 1 month x60 epoch time, we will set it to normal 12-hour epochs and leave alpha2 running until Open Beta is ready for launch. The open Beta start will be an exact replication of the mainnet start process so that everyone can test claim coins and so on
▶️ The Open Alpha2 testnet is now in a state that presents all anticipated testing results. Hence, our development is focusing on how to finalize the Open Beta Content – which is full mainnet release content.
Indeed, we had more development progress on the contract side than on the node side. The positive effect is that we will have the DMD diamond blockchain DAO ready sooner at the mainnet start and no need to wait for v4.1
Furthermore, it offers us the possibility to add a DMD diamond naming system that allows you to register your name ownership on the DMD diamond v4 chain. It will be implemented in such a way that you can even use your names just like in the normal “old” internet. For example, if you register “tony” on the diamond naming system, you will be able to set up a website domain with your name – “tony.bit.diamonds” and possibly email addresses too (Although that requires a little more effort).
It’s a no-brainer that you will be able to use your registered name for your validator candidate, on the NFT marketplace or inside your Uniq diamond collection exhibition. Price-wise, it will start with 1 DMD per name (an address can only be linked with one name). The ways on how to make them transferable in case you want to sell them have also been deliberated on.

▶️ The CVO got an invite at the Dortmund-Europe Web3 and AI Conference (https://conf3rence.com/) to come to present his project – uniq.diamonds, NFT marketplace, uNic Diamonds collector experience and uNiq Adventures kickoff experience Diamond Gladiators, that would stay on top of DMDv4. Another win for DMD Diamond blockchain to get aired on its unique infrastructure and offerings.
▶️ May 2024 could be a good time for the mainnet release! Stay tuned! 😍
▶️ We plan to attend crypto/blockchain meetups and other conferences where we would have the opportunity to blow the trumpet of unique offerings presented by the DMD diamond blockchain ecosystem. Nonetheless, we are still looking forward to the open beta release and the code audit process commencing.

Besides the improvement for syncing nodes, it allows for more insight into the internal communication with other validator nodes and is a huge milestone for the upcoming features like the early epoch switches and the Bonus Point System.
